Now in its third year, The Art of Dying brings together leading South Australian artists exploring themes of mortality, impermanence, and the beauty of life’s final chapter. Each piece offers a deeply personal reflection on death and dying — inviting viewers into conversation, contemplation, and connection.
This year’s exhibition will run as a public event from September 22 to October 19 at Centennial Park, culminating in the SA Death Festival on October 19 — a day-long gathering dedicated to opening dialogue around end-of-life, grief, and love.
✨ A Special Invitation
Before the exhibition officially opens, we will host a private Opening Event — an afternoon to be among the first to view and purchase artwork, connect with community, enjoy a glass of Hentley Farm wine on arrival, and experience the poetry of acclaimed writer Mike Ladd.
If you would like to attend this special opening, please reach out directly to India Wallace at india.wallace@purelandhomehospice.org or call 0400 401 028 to receive your personal invitation for you and a guest.
🌿 Support Through Art
All works are available for purchase, with 50% of proceeds going to the artist and 50% supporting Pure Land Home Hospice. Each purchase is not just an artwork, but an act of compassion, helping us provide free end-of-life support across South Australia.
Thank you for supporting this exhibition and helping us bring dignity, compassion, and community to the end of life.
