Uniting in Spirituality

A Shared Journey to Find Meaning and Purpose

Spirituality is the sense of connection to something greater than oneself.  Sometimes this involves a quest for purpose and meaning in life. It takes various forms, with some people finding their spiritual life intricately linked to their association with religious institutions such as churches, temples, mosques, or synagogues. Others may find solace and meaning through personal relationships with God, a higher power, or through their connections to nature and art. Like our sense of purpose, spirituality can evolve and adapt throughout our lives, especially during the transition of death, influenced by personal experiences and relationships.

At Pure Land Home Hospice, we understand that spirituality is a deeply individual experience. Our goal is to honour and support your unique spiritual journey, recognising the universal and unifying aspects of spirituality. We understand that all paths, religious or otherwise, are valued and respected. Whether you are a believer, an agnostic, an atheist, a Buddhist, or you adhere to any other belief system, you are warmly welcomed in our community.

Our dedicated volunteers stand ready to listen attentively, read prayers and engage in meaningful conversations. They provide this assistance without bias or judgement, creating a nurturing and supportive environment where individuals can find solace, meaning, and connection as they navigate their end-of-life journey.

We warmly welcome everyone into our hospice. Our arms are open wide to embrace diversity, and our mission is to foster a community where everyone feels seen, heard, and respected.
